ChatGPT sneaks back onto WhatsApp, but only because the EU made Meta do it

The company is also launching ChatGPT on South Korea’s Kakao messenger and on Viber in other markets, a clear signal it’s pushing beyond its own app and onto messaging platforms where billions already spend their time. Whether Meta will fight the EU order or quietly comply while lobbying behind the scenes remains an open question — but for now, the door is cracked open, and ChatGPT walked right back through it.
