Hugging Face just made its move into AWS’s billing ecosystem. The company announced that its Hub is now available on AWS Marketplace, meaning organizations can subscribe and have all Hugging Face usage charges appear directly on their AWS invoice instead of a separate credit card. No more chasing down finance for that monthly Hugging Face charge — it’s bundled with the rest of your cloud spend.

The setup process is straightforward but has some real prerequisites. You need an active AWS account with Marketplace access, a Hugging Face organization account (not a personal user account), and admin role membership in that organization. Once you subscribe through the Marketplace and click “Set up your account,” you’re redirected to the Hub to select which organization to link. After a few minutes, you receive two confirmation emails — one from AWS, one from Hugging Face — and your billing status flips to subscribe-success.

What can you actually buy this way? Inference Endpoints for deploying models, AutoTrain for code-free ML model creation, and Spaces hardware upgrades. The company also notes that Enterprise Hub — with its advanced security features, access controls, and SOC2 Type 2 certification — is available with one additional step. Pricing through the Marketplace is identical to public Hugging Face pricing, which is the smart play here: Hugging Face isn’t trying to charge a premium for convenience, it’s removing friction.

For AWS-heavy shops, this matters more than it might seem at first glance. Enterprise procurement teams hate juggling multiple vendor relationships, and getting Hugging Face spend onto the AWS bill means it can be tracked against existing cloud budgets, negotiated enterprise discounts, or even committed spend agreements. That’s the kind of administrative detail that can quietly determine whether a platform gets adopted or ignored inside a large company. The question now is whether Hugging Face will pursue similar integrations with Azure and Google Cloud — both have marketplaces that would benefit from the same treatment.
