Indeed’s AI agents aim to simplify job hunting and hiring

Indeed is doubling down on AI to transform how people find jobs and how companies hire. The job platform, which has used AI for nearly two decades, now has over a hundred AI-powered features. Its newest tools include two AI agents: Career Scout, a personal career coach for job seekers, and Talent Scout, which automates tedious recruiting tasks for employers. Indeed is also rolling out AI-powered Advanced Screening and Sourcing through its Indeed Connect system. The company works closely with OpenAI on a dozen products to improve job recommendations, candidate matching, and salary insights. Internally, AI adoption is surging—over 80% of engineers use agentic coding tools, and two-thirds of employees report saving up to two hours weekly. The goal is to make hiring faster and more human while keeping employers as the final decision-makers.
