OpenAI Launches Grove for Early-Stage Builders

OpenAI has introduced Grove, a new program designed for technical talent who are at the very beginning of their company-building journey, even before they have a solid idea. Unlike typical accelerators, Grove offers a dense talent network, co-building opportunities with OpenAI researchers, and early access to new tools and models. The program kicks off with five weeks of in-person workshops, office hours, and mentoring at OpenAI’s San Francisco HQ, all aimed at helping participants explore and refine early concepts. After the program, participants can pursue funding or other paths inside or outside OpenAI. Applications closed on January 12, 2026, with around fifteen spots available.
