Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think, learn, and make decisions. AI encompasses a broad range of techniques from rule-based systems to machine learning and deep learning.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the broad field of creating machines and systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. These include reasoning, learning, perception, problem-solving, and language understanding.

AI is commonly divided into three categories:

  • Narrow AI (Weak AI): Designed for specific tasks (e.g., chatbots, recommendation systems).
  • General AI (Strong AI): Hypothetical AI with human-level cognitive abilities across any domain.
  • Superintelligence: A level of intelligence surpassing human capabilities in every field.

Modern AI relies heavily on machine learning, large datasets, and powerful computing hardware. AI applications span healthcare, finance, transportation, entertainment, and scientific research.
